Filter-pad guide
Cellulose purity, depth filtration, porosity, GSM, strength and trial design.
Open filter-pad guide →Engineering knowledge
Practical notes for engineers, purchase managers and plant teams evaluating depth pads, papers, cartridges and clarification systems.
Technical note 01
A depth medium is a three-dimensional porous network. Particles are retained within the media and at the upstream cake, so performance changes as loading progresses. Initial pressure drop, pressure rise, filtrate clarity and total throughput are more informative together than any single catalogue property.
