01
Approved specification
Media, dimensions, tolerances and declared performance tied to a product code.
Quality resource
A practical quality framework covering raw-material control, media-property testing, lot documentation and qualification in the customer’s actual process.

Control points
Sri Bharathi's manufacturing process uses virgin pulp inputs, automated filter-pad production and reduced direct handling from pulping to finished media. Raw materials are monitored and routine testing covers filtration efficiency, pad porosity, absorbency, filtration speed and bursting factor.
Applicable paper and pad fibres receive a porous, chemically inert wet-strength treatment intended to preserve mechanical strength during aqueous filtration. The relevant grade specification should identify which controls apply and how acceptance is recorded.
Qualification
01
Media, dimensions, tolerances and declared performance tied to a product code.
02
Units and procedures for porosity, strength, flow or retention claims.
03
Manufacturing identification linked to release documentation.
04
Grade-specific fibre, polymer, alloy and contact information as applicable.
05
Agreed communication for material or process changes affecting the approved grade.
06
Documented performance in the user's representative process before routine supply.
Application qualification
Technical data supports product selection, while process qualification establishes performance in the intended application. Qualification should cover compatibility, retention, extractables, microbial requirements, pressure, temperature, cleaning and applicable regulatory obligations.
For sensitive applications, request the latest technical data sheet and supporting documents with the quotation. Define any certificate fields or acceptance limits before the first production order.
